Changing careers, especially after further education, does not mean the basics of job searching and creating good resumes and cover letters should be ignored; it does mean special attention must be paid to the resume and cover letter to ensure the applicant's best qualities are shown in relation to the new career path.

Q. Hello, I have recently completed training and am now a certified medical assistant. However, with no medical experience, I am finding it difficult to find a job. Also, I have poor credit and just about all the places I apply ask for permission to look into my credit history.
